Trust & verification on My Joy of Giving
My Joy of Giving uses manual review and document checks before sensitive listings go public. This page explains what we verify for emergency help campaigns, NGO partners, and item or food donations.
Emergency help campaigns
Emergency help campaigns stay hidden until an administrator completes identity, bank, and document checks. Applicants upload supporting files after submission; sensitive documents are never shown on public campaign pages.

NGO partners
NGO partners register with name, mobile, and city. Accounts stay pending until reviewed. Verified NGOs can request item and food pickups and upload proof of distribution where the platform supports it.
Item donations & food rescue
Item donations and food rescue listings are posted by donors and food providers. NGOs coordinate pickup; status updates appear on the listing and via the public track page when a reference number is provided.
What MJG does not claim
MJG is a coordination platform — not a payment gateway, hospital, or government agency. We do not guarantee that every listing will be fulfilled, and we cannot verify the condition of every donated item in person before pickup.
